Portfolio and Product Management Training

We have designed our courses from scratch to match the needs of either upcoming Product Managers or experienced teams wanting a refresh.

We cover the full lifecycle of Product Management from strategy through to product withdrawal.  We use our own experience and examples to illustrate and explain how to manage each stage.

Given how contextual Product Management is, in advance of the course we will discuss with you what any existing process or approach looks like today, and map this to the services and products you sell.  This will ensure that everything we cover on the day is consistent with the way you currently operate your business and therefore retention of key messaging is retained by all attendees.

We have two courses and ongoing coaching available today:

1 day introduction

This course is a one day intensive mixture of interactive theory & practical work. You will have some pre-work to do ahead of the day, ensuring the practical work is applicable to your current circumstances.

At the end of the course we will provide copies of our bespoke framework and key take outs which the team can use to keep learnings at the front of their memories.

1 day advanced course

Our Advanced Product Management course is focused on the more complex aspects of Product Management, including portfolio management, solution management, service catalogue management, incentive & adoption plans, go-to-market success and failure examples.

It is intended as a follow on from the Product Management course and extends those initial skills in an efficient and pragmatic manner.

Everything we share reflects our real world experience of over 30 years in the Product Management space, and we will dive into detailed examples of the best approaches to use throughout the day.

Coaching

This can then be accompanied by our coaching services to help embed the knowledge you have gained in the training courses.

We offer coaching on a scheduled basis to ensure that you have dedicated time for the sessions and we will expect you to demonstrate the implementation of what we have covered in our sessions.  We know how to convert Product Management effort into business success, and will tailor the way we work to get the best results for you and your team.

Product Lifecycle Process Creation

To embed product management thinking into your organisation, a structured approach to managing your services and products will ensure the outcomes we all expect from having a good product management approach - high customer satisfaction, good margins, high levels of conversion and clear costs.

We will work with you to first of all understand the nature of your business, the outcomes you are aiming for and then which sort of product management process would be most applicable to your circumstances.
